What Is Powdered Peanut Butter?
Powdered peanut butter is made by pressing the oil out of peanuts, then grinding them into a fine powder. That’s all there is to it. You can add a little water to make it the consistency of peanut butter you’re used to, or you can simply add the powder to your morning shake for a little extra flavor. Peanut butter is more than just a lunchbox staple and the glue that holds the raisin ants to the celery log, it’s a nutritional powerhouse that packs a protein punch and a dose of heart-healthy fats.
At Pasokin we make Crumbs. While not a powder, it’s an delicious, easy addition to your favorite yogurt, oatmeal, or dessert. Crumbs are made from roasted peanuts, but unlike powdered peanut butter, the oil is not pressed out and the peanuts are less granulated. Since there’s no need to add water, it can be used directly as a topping or as an all-natural ingredient in many recipes.
